See a wonderful display by our impressive range of artists including Matthew Lanyon, son of celebrated Cornish painter Peter Lanyon, Terence Round formerly Art Director for Terence Conran, Fred Richards a specialist in and devotee of the St Ives school, James Frost who had a sell-out exhibition of life recently in Canterbury. As well as having a distinctly European flavour we represent the best artists from Kent and London as well as an eclectic mix of Russian paintings and fabrics and artefacts from Zambia.We are specialists in original Art Deco and 20th century design icons by master designers like George Maxim, Balleste, Melleville. Unusual one-off pieces such as a space-age design Soforno fire and a signed figure by Lindsey B are included and the range is growing all the time. See stunning abstracts & dramatic landscapes by Terence Round whose series of paintings depicting the expedition of Ernest Shackleton in the Endurance during World War I are highly collectable.
The lively nude paintings and impressionist landscapes by Valerie Thoresby who trained with Cecil Collins are very sought after, driftwood sculpture and furniture individually designed and created by Nick Stewart who last year featured in a Channel 4 film about crafts around the east coast, exciting psychedelic digital & abstract photography by John Bloomfield, unique photographs by Patrick Kayukwa one of the most experienced photographer/reporters in his field, fabulous concept canvases and wooden constructions by the extremely talented Maria Hannibal, bold and vigorous nudes by Dione Owers, renowned for her life-drawing and painting commissions.Our range includes retro lighting, original prints, gig lee prints, stylish contemporary furniture, kitchenware in exquisite wood & brushed steel, modern hand thrown pottery for the table to compliment the most stylish dining room.
